Triumph The Church And KingdomOf God In Christ outreach is also means to introduce people in the community to the church by making them aware of God’s love for them. Outreach stimulates church growth by mobilizing members to minister to the un-churched. However, growth should not be measured by the number of people in attendance on Sunday morning, but by the number of disciples being produced.Outreach is only a starting point for many people on their path to a relationship with Jesus Christ. Churches must pick up where outreach ends, providing the worship, fellowship and discipleship opportunities that, along with ministry and evangelism help make up five purposes of the church. Outreach simply cannot be forsaken or back-burnered for a church to be effective in its community and in its mission.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Outreach ministry is to model Christ’s concern for people, both individually and collectively .. The reason we exists is to share the Gospel of Christ to everyone we meet through personal witnessing. Outreach ministries are called to deal with the needs and concerns of persons beyond the congregation, relating the ministry of the local church to the needs of the world through compassion, justice, and advocacy.
Jeremiah 1:7 - But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I [am] a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
The love of Christ fuels your journey, much like the fire in an engine propels a vehicle forward. It serves as the guiding force behind your actions and decisions, shaping your path and purpose. The Bible emphasizes the importance of outreach, as seen in Matthew 28:19, where Jesus commands us to "go therefore and make disciples of all nations." Additionally, Mark 16:15 encourages us to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Embrace this divine love and let it inspire you to share the message of Christ with others.
